Caregiving is an incredibly important endeavor but sometimes the job is not easy and it can feel lonely, isolating, and stressful.
According to Senior Living’s Family Caregiver Annual Report and Statistics, there are approximately 53 million adults in America assisting family members with activities of daily living such as dressing, cooking, etc.
Emotional stress remains the biggest challenge with caregivers commonly reporting signs of anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, changes in appetite, and more.
Sending a caregiver a little love note of appreciation is a beautiful gesture to let them know they are appreciated.
And, in reverse, a caregiver can send a note of appreciation to the ones who matter in their lives, such as friends, other family members, and even to themselves in the form of self-care!
