As we approach the summer season it is time to get together with friends and family, and for summer holiday celebrations under the sun. Sipping a delicious refreshing drink is a great way to cool off and enjoy the warm weather, and this Sparkling Ginger Cranberry Mocktail does not disappoint.

Because I rarely drink alcohol, mocktails are a big thing for me. And I love how they have become more popular in general culture. No longer do I look weird when I am at a bar, or out to dinner, ordering a mocktail. I love seeing all of the non-alcoholic choices on menus now when I go out to dinner.

With a refreshing blend of ginger beer, tart cranberry juice, and a hint of pineapple and orange juice, it is easy to create a vibrant and delicious mocktail that is perfect for any occasion.

Cranberries on Cape Cod

Cranberries are delicious and flavorful, and they are quite easy to use in a variety of recipes.

They are also nutrient-rich and healthy for you. Containing antioxidant properties that help fight conditions such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, tooth decay, and more.

Here on the Cape, we have many cranberry bogs so we get fresh cranberries when they are in season. I like to purchase them fresh and in bulk and then freeze the cranberries in bags to use throughout the year.

This Sparkling Ginger Cranberry Mocktail recipe provides the ideal combination of tart cranberries, zesty orange and pineapple, and the uplifting fizz of spicy ginger beer, or soda water if you prefer, which makes it the ultimate summer sipper.

A Healthy Basic Mocktail Recipe

There are plenty of ways to make a mocktail super fancy but here is a basic healthy recipe to get you started.

  1. Combine cranberry juice with a splash of lime juice and a drizzle of maple syrup. Stir vigorously with ice cubes to chill the mixture to perfection.
  2. Top off this easy cranberry mocktail recipe with a splash of club soda or sparkling water to add a refreshing effervescence.
  3. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint for an extra burst of flavor and a touch of summer elegance.

From Simple To A Sophisticated Mocktail

It is easy to turn your basic mocktail into a mocktail that looks professional, sophisticated, and restaurant-worthy.

If you are looking to add a little extra kick to your mocktail, a splash of spicy ginger ale or ginger beer is the perfect way to add more flavor and create a truly unforgettable drink.

You can also rim the glass with sugared cranberries for a touch of sweetness, or garnish with a slice of lemon for a hint of brightness.

If you want to turn a good mocktail into a cocktail, you can add a splash of vodka to your sparkling drink. However, I personally prefer this Sparkling Ginger Cranberry Mocktail recipe as non-alcoholic.

To make this mocktail completely sugar-free, you can swap out the maple syrup sweetener for a few drops of liquid stevia or 1 tablespoon of monkfruit.

It is important to add the ginger beer as your very last step. This keeps the fizz and carbonation fresh.

This is a mocktail, a non-alcoholic drink. However, if you’d like to add alcohol, vodka would be the best choice.

To make this mocktail in advance, measure the juices and pour them into a tightly sealed jar, like a mason jar. Add the maple syrup and stir. This sweetened juice mixture can be stored in the fridge until you are ready to use.
